Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s computer networks and systems
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigating risks
  • Monitor computer networks and systems for security breaches or unauthorized access
  • Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings
  • Implement security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s security posture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for enhancing security measures
  • Work with other IT teams to ensure that security policies and procedures are followed throughout the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+
  • Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs
  • Experience with cloud security technologies, such as AWS or Azure security
  • Experience with incident response and forensics
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools
