Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s computer networks and systems
Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigating risks
Monitor computer networks and systems for security breaches or unauthorized access
Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings
Implement security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s security posture
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for enhancing security measures
Work with other IT teams to ensure that security policies and procedures are followed throughout the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+
Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs
Experience with cloud security technologies, such as AWS or Azure security
Experience with incident response and forensics
Experience with security automation and orchestration tools
